Royal River’s Own a Suri Program
Start your alpaca farm with a minimal investment of $1000 per breeding female! The details are as follows:
- Pick a bred female from our Own a Suri Program. For $1000, take your dam home and take good care of her while you wait for the first cria to be born on your farm!
- Along with your new dam, we will ask you to take 3 additional alpacas for boarding and care.
- Included in the Program is the option to rebred in year one at no additional cost. Once your dam has delivered you have the option to either:
- Rebreed her to one of our solely owned males, co-owned males, or leased males at no charge except for a $300 chute fee; or
- If you decide to breed to one of the “leased” males in our breed improvement program, your dam can be rebred at our farm for $300 over our group breeding rate.
- We provide most of the support services you will need to help ensure a healthy birthing.
- In exchange for your care and the dam’s first female cria from the dam, the dam will be transferred to you at no additional cost.
This is an exciting program and comes with all the guarantees and support services we normally provide with the sale of an alpaca. In addition, you are eligible to participate in our commercial yarn program producing North American alpaca blended yarns and end products.
